White Wing is run by husband and wife team Kevin McGrew & Ashley Poe-McGrew, who share a deep love for animals and a passion for creating meaningful moments through the beauty of white dove releases.

We moved to Hempstead, Texas in 2022, bringing with us not just our birds, but a lifetime of experience and care. Kevin was raised in pigeon loft, where he learned the art of breeding and training racing pigeons from an early age. His knowledge and dedication ensure that every bird in our loft is healthy, well-trained, and treated with the utmost respect. Ashley, on the other hand, grew up in the cattle business, where she developed a strong appreciation for animals, hard work, and the cycles of life. Her compassionate spirit and love for people shine through in every ceremony we serve, whether it’s a joyful wedding or a tender memorial.

Together, we founded White Wing to bring comfort, beauty, and symbolism to life’s most important moments. Every bird release we provide is done with care, respect, and a deep understanding of what these moments mean for families and loved ones. For us, it’s not just about releasing birds — it’s about sharing a symbol of peace, love, and remembrance that lingers long after the doves have flown home.
